The Tuscan Shutters

Inspired by the restrained architecture of the Tuscan tradition, these handcrafted shutters bring depth, permanence to the exterior of the home. Their arched profile and subtle proportions give them the presence of architectural elements rather than simple ornament.

Each Pair is built by hand from Western Red Cedar, each shutter features a tongue-and-groove raised-panel hybrid construction, combining the vertical rhythm and texture of traditional tongue-and -groove boards with the depth and shadow lines of a raised panel . Roman ogee profiles frame the composition and give the otherwise restrained design a subtle classical detail.
