The Baroque II Gate

Inspired by the expressive grandeur of Italian Baroque architecture, Baroque II explores the relationship between ornament, movement and traditional craftsmanship.

At its heart, the elaborate composition of hand-carved acanthus foliage and sweeping scrollwork rises with a classically proportioned Wester Red Cedar frame. Deep relief, layered contours, and intricate detailing create an interplay of light and shadow, giving the composition a remarkable sense of depth and movement.

Constructed using traditional joinery and finished with a natural blend of linseed oil, pine tar and beeswax, Baroque II represents a meeting of Old World craftsmanship and contemporary architectural ambition.

Designed not merely as an entrance, but an architectural statement.
